BELIZE!!!
I crossed into Corozal, Belize from Chetumal, MX. Corozal is a s-l-o-w, mellow, beach border town. SUPER friendly people!!

Then, take a 2 hour boat ferry out and down to Amergris Caye otherwise known as San Pedro, Belize.

Where you don't do much, but watch the boaters come in for a cold one and chill out.

About 2 hours south of Playa del Carmen, you'll find the beautiful beaches and ruins of TULUM, MX.

I took a night bus from Tulum to Mahahual and arrived a hour or so before the sunrise.

Here's my home for the night in Mahahual. The hostel that I had planned to stay in had their cabanas wiped out by Hurricane Dean three months prior...but they had a tent! :-)

While in Cancun, I managed an amazing 4 day, 3 night side trip....see if you can figure out where!
