¡Bienvenido a MEXICO!
That's me crossing the border from Guatemala into Mexico (look to the right of the red truck).

After a three hour shuttle ride from the border, I arrived in San Cristobal de las Casas the day after the day of the dead. However, there were some festivities still remaining as the photos will show. San Cristobal is a beautiful town with loads of restaurants, hotels, cafes, bars, live music, churches, stairs, dogs, political graphiti and TONS of tourists! It's easy to spend the day wandering and doing a whole lot of nothing. :-)

Only staying a few days here and then I'm off to Palenque (Mayan ruins set in the jungle about 4 hours from here...I'm ready for some warm weather. Very chilly at night!)
Enjoy the photos.
