Entering Argentina! + Salta + Mendoza.
Saw this old Ford filled with empty wine bottles...classic Argentina!

Fountain in one of the many parks in Salta.
Nice font.
"Siempre resistir"...even if you don't know Spanish, you might be able to guess what it means...'Always resist.'
Pretty garden in Salta neighborhood.
Never did get around to trying the 'Salta' brand beer. Oh well...
Teleferico in Salta and view of the city.
Lazy pup in the park at the top of the Teleferico. Sooo cute!

Crewing on the 'lake' in Mendoza. (very small lake)
1st....not my stuff. 2nd...some people just amaze me with how they keep their stuff (or don't in this case) in dorm rooms!
Chillin' in Plaza de Independencia in Mendoza...with a lollipop.
Students just out of school.
Fountains in Plaza de Independencia.

Fuente de Continentes.
A small samping of the wine at our own tasting in the hostel.
We tried Cab-Merlots, Cab-Malbecs and pure Malbecs. Yummy! Don't worry mom....look below to see how many people were involved in the tasting! :-)
No, not just me...
Okay, these folks had their own thing going on.

Counterclockwise from top of table, Julia, then me, then obnoxious, young, American girl and her decently cool Irish boyfriend, cousin of Fritz, didn't get his name though, Fritz in the white shirt at the top, Victor is next, can't really see him, didn't get the guy's name in yellow, Nick and finally Katie in the blue.
